POPIA information

NVD Attorneys recognises the importance of protecting personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Purpose limitation

Personal information should only be supplied where relevant to a legal enquiry or an accepted legal instruction. The website’s first-contact form is intentionally designed without file uploads and does not ask for identity numbers or banking details.

Legal-matter information

Once a matter is accepted, NVD may need to process information relating to consumers, debt counsellors, credit providers, litigation parties, court or tribunal proceedings and other relevant stakeholders to perform the legal instruction and comply with legal or professional obligations.

Security

Website visitors should avoid sending highly sensitive material until the firm confirms how it should be provided. Electronic communications carry inherent risks and no ordinary email system can be represented as completely risk-free.
